The Alexit Hardener 34557 is the reactive component in the Mankiewicz Alexit FST class coating system. It is mixed with the base resin component of the Alexit FST topcoat (e.g., 34657) to form a flame retardant polymer film that resists abrasion, jet fuel splash, hydraulic fluid exposure and supports aircraft maintenance regimes. The use of this hardener ensures curing to specification,
adhesion to aluminium, composite or primed metal substrates and gives the surface durability demanded in commercial and military aviation MRO environments. Suitable for high performance airframes, it is serviced in a 1?kg tin size and must be kept within shelf life limits and mixed in correct ratio for optimum film properties
